Today, we proudly present Part 2 of our conversation with Nisha Tracy, the Clinical Director of Clean and Sober Streets, an innovative, community-based anti-addiction program founded in 1988 by Julia Lightfoot that promotes the attitude that a joyful, productive drug and alcohol-free life is possible.
Nisha is a licensed professional counselor and registered art therapist who, as Clean and Sober Streets’ clinical director, oversees the care of residents. A graduate of George Washington University's graduate art therapy program, her training includes yearlong art therapy internships at Accotink Academy and Sibley Memorial Hospital. In 2014, she began her work at Clean and Sober Streets as an art therapist.
