Today, we present Part 2 of our final Theatre in Community podcast, our conversation with veteran theater director and arts leader, Pat Murphy Sheehy.
Pat came to prominence as the artistic director of DC’s Source Theater for 11 years until 1997. She currently serves as Artistic Director Emerita, and she instigated the current Pat Murphy Sheehy New Playwrights Fund at the Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company.
She has held key leadership roles in the Washington, D. C. metropolitan arts community for several decades, including as the former chair of the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities and as president of the now inactive League of Washington Theaters.
